Important Information

All of our clothing and photography props are handmade and are subject to slight differences in fabric, seams, trims and design.

Mia Joy Studio is located in Southern Ontario, Canada and all items are shipped from our local post office. (Canada Post) If placing an International order, please be aware that your package will arrive anywhere from 4 business days up to 12 weeks depending on border customs and your location. It is rare for a package to arrive any later then 3 weeks from the shipping date, but it can happen.

All packages are shipped in the standard way and tracking is not included on International orders unless purchased in the shop. Your tracking number will be emailed to you after the package has shipped. Tracking also ensures that you receive your package within 6-8 business days from the shipping date.

All of our items in our shop are ready to ship unless otherwise specified in the listing. Generally any order placed before Thursday nights will be shipped on Friday of the same week. Any orders placed after Thursday night will be shipped on the Friday of the following week. Due to holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, your package may ship on the Monday or Tuesday instead, as we are a small family run business and cannot guarantee a set shipping day. We do not ship express unless the express shipping fees are paid and your order is placed on the Wednesday or Thursday of the week. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Mia Joy Studio currently does not accept custom orders or requests at this time.

We cannot guarantee a specific date of delivery on International orders due to customs. Please do not book a session counting on a specific Mia Joy outfit to use in your session until your package has arrived. We do strive to ship all of our items in a timely manner, however it is truly impossible to guarantee an arrival date and we like to please our customers in every way we can.

If you qualified for the free shipping option, please note that express shipping is excluded from this offer. Your package will be shipped on our regular shipping day with a tracking option and insurance coverage up to $100. 

We ship to personal residences or photography business addresses only. We reserve the right to cancel orders shipping to freight forwarding companies. If a freight forwarding address, or other address that is not your own is used, please note that we will not be held responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Items can be returned if damaged and the item has been unworn. You must contact us within the first week of receiving the item. A full refund will be issued for the item including the amount paid for shipping and return shipping. If preferred, and if we are able, your item will be replaced. Items cannot be returned for any other reason unless discussed prior to the purchase. Thank you for your understanding. 

All of our newborn and baby clothing are for photography purposes. Babies should be watched at all times when wearing Mia Joy Studio items as drawstrings and small decorative trim and beading, may pose a choking hazard.
